So you want to be a Triclops
Triclops Heritage Profile
TriClops are easily identified by an additional eye on their forehead. Some eyes are open, some are not.
Although they have historically been viewed as plodding and dim- truthfully they are steadfast, loyal, and can be quite nimble both in mind and body. Their taciturn nature has simply been misinterpreted as slow-witted.
TriClops can trace their lineage all the way back to the three Cyclops sons of Uranus and Gaia. These original three were artisans and provided many of the iconic weapons and armor of later Titans and Olympians.
A young TriClops can be found in virtually any profession or class of Helike society. Their natural strength allows them to be proficient with 2 handed weapons.
Although many TriClops in Helike choose to follow Poseidon, it is not uncommon to find them studying with Logicians in the Forum and eschewing the Gods favor.
Heritage Abilities
These are the abilities that make TriClops unique. You get them at the start of the game. It is up to you to role play them successfully.
Passive: Smiths: TriClops are inherently efficient Smiths and gain 10 additional production points once they begin the Smithing craft.
Active: Proficient: with 2 handed weapons gaining an additional 2 damage with them.
Roleplay: 3rd Eye: At character creation, the 3rd eye is closed. Closed 3rd eye takes double damage or double healing from magic.
When they accomplish their agreed upon feat, the 3rd eye opens. (Character dependent)
Opened 3rd eye is immune to magic, including healing. This must be represented by costuming/makeup.
A final feat must be completed to allow the player to open or close the 3rd eye at will. This accomplishment is represented by depicting a starburst on the left and right side of the 3rd eye.
Triclops Example Archetypes

Triclops are inherently willful creatures and as such make great Logicians. Many Logicians hold Triclops up as examples that the gods are not all powerful as the Triclops can shrug off their magic.
Smith
Triclops are historically talented smiths as are their cyclopean ancestors. Their ingenuity and physical strength make them born crafters.
Guard
A Triclops natural physicality makes them ideal for guard work.
